Vostok 5 was an exhibition of art and music about people and animals in space, displayed between the 1st and 7th of September 2011 at the Outside World Gallery in Shoreditch, and organised by a collective including Darren, Duncan Barrett (Tigercats), Sarah Lippett (Fever Dream), Paul Rains (Hexicon, Allo Darlin’), and Robert Rotifer (Rotifer). A 9-track CD was released featuring exclusive space songs by all the artists, including Darren’s contributions, ‘A Breeze And A Little Piece Of Coal’ and ‘Little Arrow And Little Squirrel.
